Say No to the "Extermination Rule" in Indiana!

The Indiana Department of Natural Resources is proposing a change to its rules affecting wildlife rehabilitators. Under the new rule, wildlife rehabilitators – people who work to save the lives of injured wild animals – would be required to kill any raccoons they receive that weigh more than 13 pounds and any coyotes over 20 pounds. In addition, rehabilitators would be prohibited from releasing more than 24 of any one species in a calendar year.

Please support our wildlife rehabilitator friends in Indiana by signing their petition against these rule changes. In addition, a public hearing has been scheduled for April 14 at 10:30 a.m. (EDT) at The Garrison at Fort Harrison State Park, North Post Road, Indianapolis, Indiana. Please come show your support.

Biomass deceptive environmental marketing complaint

Hi Folks,

This letter is another important task to be done for opposing the biomass incinerator LGR wants to build near Milltown. Please print out this letter, sign it and mail it. Folks from all over the United States will be sending simular letters to FTC. The more letters received the more likely it is that FTC will look into the matter. Thanks, again, for your continuing efforts to keep LGR out of this community.

Sincerely, Lorie C.
